Requires a one-hour initial parent(s) only meeting: $160.00*

  • 50 minutes

Service Description

It might surprise you to know that when a teenager turns 18 they will be required to consent to their own therapy. While some parents may not consider their 18 year old an adult, the law says they are and therefore they will need to sign the consent forms and sign a release form giving the counselor permission to talk with their parent. During this last stage of child development a young adult often still needs emotional, financial, and living support from caregiver’s. It is strongly encouraged that parent’s play a part in the treatment process but they will need the young adult’s permission to do so. *One-hour initial meeting required if parent is paying
