ABOUT
Kellie Cole,
M.Ed, LPC, RPT-S

Hello! My name is Kellie Cole and I am the owner of Compassion Child and Family Counseling. I am so glad you stopped by my website. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapy-Supervisor. I have been working in the mental health field for over 35 years. I specialize in working with children and teens and I love working with parents. I also enjoy working with adults and appreciate all ages and stages of life. Honestly, I love what I do and couldn’t see myself doing anything else.
Life has taught me that we are in a constant cycle of good times and hard times. While we generally love good times, they can be stressful. Marriage, children, parenting, graduation, work, and relationships can be difficult. Hard times and unexpected circumstances can throw us a curveball. Whatever you might be dealing with, it is brave of you to be asking for help and I am honored that you would consider working with me.
Choosing the right therapist for yourself or your child is a big decision. I respect this process and want to do my best to see if I might be the right fit for you. Some of the things that I can help you and/or your child with are:
ADHD - Anxiety - Autism I - Behavior Challenges - Depression - Divorce - Family Discord - Grief and Loss - Learning Differences - Life Transitions - Parenting - Parent/Child Relationships - Personal Growth/Life Decisions - Trauma
I am neurodiversity affirming, meaning, if you and/or your child think differently, are considered more sensitive, struggle with focus or time management, have high energy, etc. it is my job to honor your uniqueness and use a strengths based approach to help you function better and be your best self. Together we will celebrate your strengths and build new skills to help you now and in the future.
